In the previous IDByte 2015, we explored the theme of “Connected e-Conomy”, as we acknowledged how the world is increasingly shrinking as we get connected to each other via the internet. We also addressed the trend of globalization and we explored who Indonesia can be more than just a market. In IDByte, our vision is to put Indonesia on the global digital map, and for Indonesia to become a strong, digital player.
Indonesia is filled with talented individuals and innovative businesses – our challenge now is to get our talents recognized internationally. We explored how Indonesia’s digital potential could drive growth and development for various industries in Indonesia. IDByte 2015 had invited prominent speakers such as John Lagerling, VP Business Development of Facebook; Brian McWilliams, Head of Analytics, Disney Research Zurich; amongst many other leaders from the tech industry, as well as the public sector.
